Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook

L aptop audio is generally something you tolerate or snigger at since most laptops come with the kind of audio depth and volume of Mickey Mouse on heliu m.

Creative Labs has just announced its solution, the S ound Blaster XFi Xtreme Audio Notebook, an audio upgrade that uses the ExpressCard slot.

It comes with Creative’s XFi technologies, like XFi Crystalizer, which enhances the detail and punch usually lost with compressed audio files.
It sports line-level and digital optical inputs/outputs as well as microphone and headphone jacks. You can also hook it up to 5.1 or 7.1 surround speakers via an optional docking module.
